Mission Statement

I believe that dogs enrich our lives. They are amazing, wonderful creatures that give us unconditional love. I am passionate about helping them live healthy, full, happy lives by providing quality dog rehab. I never force dogs to do something they don’t want to do. Being Fear Free Certified, I use a compassionate, gentle approach (often using treats as motivation) to build a trusting relationship with both you and your fur baby.

The number one thing I hear from owners is "I wish I'd known about you sooner!"

My goal is to provide the best, up to date dog physical therapy in a kind and patient manner. I will also provide you with tools that you can incorporate at home to help heal your animal in an effective and efficient way.

About Me

Sheri Mounteer, MPT, CCRT

My name is Sheri Mounteer. I grew up in Wyoming. I received my Masters in Physical Therapy degree in 1996 from the University of North Dakota. After 20+ years of practicing, I transferred my knowledge and skill set to pursue my passion for dogs in order to become a physical therapist for dogs. In June 2019, I received my certification as a Canine Rehabilitation Therapist.

I am Fear Free Certified.

My hobbies include the outdoors – mountain biking, trail running, hiking, skiing and camping. I love to enjoy many of these things with my dog, Hannah. I am also an active volunteer with the Humane Society of the South Platte Valley.
