WE ARE NOW OFFERING ACUPUNCTURE! ALSO OFFERING HOME VISITS

My name is Sheri Mounteer. I grew up in Wyoming. I received my Masters in Physical Therapy degree in 1996 from the University of North Dakota. After 20+ years of practicing in a variety of settings including orthopedics, geriatric rehab, home health and upper level management, I transferred my knowledge and skill set to pursue my passion for dogs. In June 2019, I received my certification as a Canine Rehabilitation Therapist from the Canine Rehab Institute.
I am Fear Free Certified.
My hobbies include the outdoors – mountain biking, trail running, hiking, skiing and camping. I love to enjoy many of these things with my dog, Hannah. I am also an active volunteer with the Humane Society of the South Platte Valley.

I am excited to be a part of Denver Dog Rehab & Wellness. I moved to Colorado with my family in the mid-90’s and never left. I graduated from Regis University with my Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 2001 and focused my career on geriatric rehab and home health. After 20+ years in the field, I did some soul searching on next steps, and decided to combine my passion for physical therapy with my passion for animals. I received my certification as a Canine Rehabilitation Therapist from The Canine Rehabilitation Institute in March 2023. I am Fear Free Certified.
My home is considered a zoo with 3 children, 2 dogs, 2 bunnies, a bearded dragon, and my fellow zoo keeper, my husband. When I am not chauffeuring my children to their various activities, I enjoy hiking, paddleboarding, and enjoying the beauty of Colorado with my family. I look forward to working with your beloved pet to help them live their best life!

I am a 2009 foreign veterinary graduate from the Dominican Republic, and I am fluent in Spanish.
I completed the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates through the American Veterinary Medical Association in 2014 and have been practicing stateside ever since.
I became a Certified Veterinary Medical Acupuncturist in 2017.
I am Fear Free certified and enjoy helping foster the human-animal bond with my patients and their people.
I am passionate about dentistry and soft-tissue surgeries, and have a special place in my heart for all my senior and geriatric patients.
During my time off, you can find me in the gym, the garden, or exploring colorful Colorado with my husband and seal point bobtail Fabio.

My name is Madison Wise, and I am so excited to be working with Denver Dog Rehab and Wellness! I am originally from Florida, which is where I first started working in veterinary medicine during college. I spent time in both a general practice setting and a rehabilitation setting in Florida, but since moving to Colorado in 2025, I have been working mainly in emergency veterinary medicine. I am so happy to be getting back into the rehab side of the field, as I have seen firsthand the amazing impact it can have on animals.
In my spare time, I am usually spending time with my cat Luci, seeing friends, or exploring Colorado since it’s still pretty new to me!
